In August 2009 Muirhall Quarter Horses purchased "Brudder Rey" at Mike McEntire's Reining Horses in North Carolina and he stayed at Mike's. He is a FANCY PHYSICAL 2007 GELDING BY TR DUAL REY, EARNER OF OVER $350,000 NCHA AND EIGHT-TIME CHAMPION OR RESERVE CHAMPION. HE IS OUT OF A MARE WHO HAS NCHA EARNINGS, AN NCHA certificate of ability and is the daughter Docs Sug Brudder. He is riding really well and is great-minded. He is a big stopper and turner and deadly leaded. A great Futurity prospect for 2010.  Little Rey attended his first show, in North Carolina, prior to the Futurity and did really well.  On his second run at the New Jersey Futurity, Little Rey managed a fantastic 2nd place in the Limited Open.  At the 2010 Futurity in Oklahoma City, he missed the finals.  Brudder Rey was a great horse to show and I was happy with his performance.

Brudder Rey moved to 7 Wheel Ranch for a 2 month rest after the Futurity 2010 and is now stabled at Cedar Ranch (Casey Hinton).  Casey is doing a fantastic job keeping him fit as I'm not in Texas often enough to do this even though he works us both very hard when I am.  Brudder Rey and I (Gabi) competed at Ardmore, Oklahoma in the Rookie Class May 2011 and achieved a 69.5, which made everyone very happy for the first show as a team.

Brudder Rey and Gabi competed at the 2011 Derby in Oklahoma and were very happy with the outcome.  Gabi and Brudder Rey will compete throughout the rest of the year in the US.

Brudder Rey and Gabi are proving to be a great team.  September 2011 saw them win the Rookie class at Wayco with a 71.5.  Gabi now has a plaque to proudly display at 7 Wheel Ranch.  New stop the Futurity in November.

We'll keep you updated.
