| Situated in the heart of the Scottish countryside near the historic towns of Biggar and Lanark, and yet within 40 minutes of both Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres. |
| Muirhall Quarter Horses was established by me, Gabi Flad. I was born in the Black Forest in Germany and moved to Scotland ten years ago after meeting my partner Chris. I have travelled throughout the world and have always remained involved in horses. Finally my dream came true six years ago when we bought Muirhall Farm as I was then able to work with horses on my own property. I am a WES member and also a lifetime AQHA member. |
| Two years ago I started working with the horse trainer Sam Magdaleno, and began looking into buying quality Quarter horses from Germany and the USA. During this time I travelled to the AQHA world show once a year and the Futurity in Oklahoma City where I have met different trainers, champions and breeders. Through these connections I was able to learn much, much more about showing, training and finding the right horses. |
| My goal for the future is to breed HAPPY high quality Quarter horses, who have a willingness to work either in the show pen or as a family horse. |
